Property Tax Comparisons For Eight Ontario Communities (2009, 2010, 2011)

Every year the St. Catharines-Niagara Regent conducts a Property Tax comparison with other similar Ontario regents.  For the years 2009, 2010 and 2011, their study included the follow eight communities:

Brampton, Burlington, Caledon, Hamilton, Niagara Region, Oakville, Oshawa and Waterloo.

The Average Property Tax Paid Annually for the Following Property Types was Recorded:

Residential (Bungalow and Executive Home); Multi-Residential (Walk-up Unit and Mid/High rise units); Commercial (Office Buildings [sq. Ft], Neighbourhood Shopping [Sq. Ft], Hotels & Motels [unit]); Industrial (Industrial Vacant Land [Acre], Residual Industrial [Sq. Ft], Large Industrial [Sq. Ft].
